BETA TESTING PHASE WILL RUN FROM MARCH 9TH THROUGH MARCH 30TH.

If you are interested in becoming one of our beta-testing groups for this game, this is how the beta test will work for new beta testing groups. All VIP testing groups who have signed up have been provided with the game.

Beta program for new testing groups:

• Purchase the beta version of the game for $29.95 and put in the text field of the order, the date you intend to host the game. Do NOT purchase this beta version if you do not know this information yet.
• Do not print and prepare the materials until 24 hours before you will host the game (with the exception of pre-game - this can be printed and implemented no more than 1 week before your event date). 24 hours before your event, download the newest version of the printable file and host instruction file and solution file (date/version will be posted on each file). You must host the newest version of the game. 
• You must host the game and submit meaningful feedback via a private survey within 24 hours of hosting the game, and no later than the deadline. 
  
• Meaningful feedback includes more than: yes/no responses. Incomplete or unhelpful feedback will not result in a store credit. 
• No posting about the game or game materials online is allowed during the beta period. Posting game information in any form/manner will disqualify you from future beta testing, as the beta testing is proprietary and game mechanics/contents/format are to remain confidential during the beta testing phase. 
• You cannot commercially license a beta version of a game. 

Survey Deadlines and Store Credit

• Missed deadline for feedback &/or not posting within 24 hours after hosting will result in loss of store credit eligibility.
• If the beta period expires, you must purchase the standard game license to host the game - we will not provide beta versions to anyone beyond the deadline date posted above.
• If you find that you cannot host the beta game within the beta period given above, contact us for a coupon code to apply the beta-test fee to the retail price of the published Murder at the MegaStar Awards ($52.95 USD) when the game is published. 
• Store credit received for the beta test cannot be applied toward a commercial license.

Format:

This is a traditional, mingling, clue-based (downloadable version) for in-person groups.

Murder Mystery Synopsis:

The annual MegaStar Awards is an ultra-glam, invite-only spectacle honoring legends, icons, rising stars… and a few desperately clinging to relevance. Influencers, TV personalities, film stars, singer-songwriters, pop royalty, and industry elites will gather beneath the crystal chandeliers of the Grand Palazzo Theater for what promises to be an unforgettable evening.

But in a room curated for perfection, nothing is as flawless as it seems. Every compliment feels calculated. Every selfie hides a secret.
