Cinco de Mayo murder mystery synopsis:
The Montalbán Hotel, a celebrity hotspot in beautiful Los Cabos, Mexico hosted its annual Cinco de Mayo celebration. The famous guests arrived in high fashion to enjoy fun Mexican games, food and music! The party got started with yummy appetizers, and the celebrities mingled to catch up on the latest Hollywood gossip. It soon became apparent some guests were hiding something, and others were foes, but the celebration got back on track with more fun party games. An amazing dinner was served to the guests, and then everyone was shocked when a dead body was discovered! The guests rallied together to figure out whodunit, as there was a naughty murderer among them! The hotel manager called in a favor from a forensic specialist at the Los Cabos Police Department who assisted the group with a latent fingerprint analysis report. After the group submitted their best guess of whodunit and accused who they believed the murderer was, they took turns confessing to their involvement, if any, with the crime. To everybody’s shock, the murderer confessed! After an exciting escape attempt by the murderer, the group engaged in another fun party game to top off the night! Overall it was the most exhilarating Cinco de Mayo celebration that the Montalbán Hotel has ever hosted!

I found the game really awesome. It was my third time doing a game with MysteryParty.com and I really like how easy it was for me to plan and explain de game to my guests. I had to traduce some of the cards since some of my guesses were only speaking French and the others were able to translate along the way. With all the theme option on this website, the only thing I could think of is having the game either in French or English. I think this would be a huge + for the company. Thank you for doing those game!
Definitely worth it! The instructions were very clear and concise, it was not too demanding for those not sure of themselves, and the characters were very easy to play. We played with 10 people, and could have used 2 more to flesh out more characters, but easily played with the 10 we had. We are going to do this again soon!
It was allot of fun. I messed up somewhere in the instructions as the game ended before it should have, but the guests still loved it!
It was a very entertaining game. My guests truly got into the spirit with great costumes and really immersed themselves into their character. It's unfortunate the game can't be played again. :( I was pleased with how it the whole night panned out considering it was my first hosting of any party with 10+ ppl. The outline of events in the game was very clear and easy to follow.
You need to find willing players first and then try and get them to really act their characters out. Was a hit for hosting my first murder mystery party!! Most people really got into their roles.
The characters were fun to play, the game was easy to follow and we've decided to do these games once a month. I'm definitely sticking with this company, it was the best party we've ever had.
Fiesta theme was great, characters were fun and the guests got into it and had a good time.
