An exciting home block party murder mystery party for a minimum of 7 players, ages 15+ years for difficulty - this is a moderate sleuth. Kit A has 20 suspects, and Kits B+ have 30 suspects. Larger kits (C-F) include players assorted onto three expandable teams (see below for details), which can cover up to 104 players.

Select the party ready (spoiler-free) option above, and our staff will fold and slip the clue cards for rounds one, two, and three into the envelopes to prevent you from seeing spoilers on the round cards. If you do not select this option, you will have some assembly required with your kit.

This game is the former 614 Scarlet Ct., and was last updated on 5/27/25. Previous versions will not be seamless.

There are three expandable teams: CBC News Crew (reporting to Pat Couric), Starry Magazine Tabloid Crew (reporting to Paul Paratsy), and Shady Oaks police officers (reporting to Officer Nelson). These are non-suspect, duplicated team players who do not add storylines to the game, and are not suspects - but their team leaders are. It's as if their team leader brought them along to the party, so when they mingle and chat, they'll talk about their team leaders' storyline with others. These roles are perfect for last minute RSVPs, younger teen players, shy or reserved players, etc.

With each kit size, the expandable team players will be assorted as evenly as possible among the teams.

Kit C: 40 players. This includes the 30 suspects and 10 team members: 4 police, 3 CBC News Crew, and 3 Tabloid Crew

Kit D: 56 players. This includes the 30 suspects and 26 team members: 9 police, 9 CBC News Crew, and 8 Tabloid Crew

Kit E: 72 players. This includes the 30 suspects and 42 team members: 14 police, 14 CBC News Crew, and 14 Tabloid Crew

Kit F: 104 players. This includes the 30 suspects and 74 team members: 25 police, 25 CBC News Crew, and 24 Tabloid Crew

Murder Mystery Synopsis:

The Dawson family has just settled into their new home at 614 Scarlet Court, and to make a splash in their cozy neighborhood, they’re throwing a block party. Leading the charge is Isabella Dawson—a seasoned party host who has already earned the unofficial title of resident gossip queen after just two months in the small town of Shady Oaks. Despite the chatter, neighbors are looking forward to a night of food, fun, and friendly faces… or so it seems.

Since the invitations hit mailboxes, whispers of blackmail, betrayal, and simmering revenge have begun to stir beneath Shady Oaks’ picturesque surface. The air is thick with tension, and not just from the humidity.

Still, Isabella insists on keeping things cheerful—promising dazzling conversation, gourmet bites, and party games designed to charm even the grumpiest guests. But with secrets bubbling just below the surface, who knows what the night will bring?

Your invitation has arrived, and you’re planning to attend.
This is where your story begins.
