Murder Mystery Synopsis:

It's the height of Prohibition in 1920s Chicago, and a mob war's brewing between the South Side Gangsters and the Northern Chicago Mob Outfit. The two ruthless crime leaders, Hal Sapone and Beanie O'Dannon, have finally agreed on bootlegging practices in Chicago and have decided to pull together resources for a collaborative effort with criminal endeavors.
On the surface, this strategy is similar to bailing out a sinking ship with tin cups.
Recently, gangsters from the north and south have been spotted together at various speakeasies throughout Chicago, but the tension in the air is always thick enough to be cut with a knife. However, this newfound relationship between the opposing mob bosses has served, thus far, to inhibit gratuitous bloodshed as in the past. Part of the success of this truce is that both crime bosses have found new dames, thereby intertwining more mutual relationships between the two factions.
The two gangs have set an official date to meet at Hal Sapone's Grand Gatsby Speakeasy to resolve all remaining differences. Will these two underground organizations resolve their disputes, or will a massive melee rekindle the fatal flames between them?
This is where your story begins.

A Grand Time at the Grand Gatsby

Posted by Josie on Sep 25th 2020

We all had so much fun! The storyline was extremely detailed but the directions were easy to follow. I liked that many of the costumes were similar, so people can easily switch characters if there is a last minute emergency. I would highly recommend this for a fun-filled night!

    Beyond Expectation

Posted by Christina on Aug 13th 2020

This game exceeded expectations! It truly gave all the fundamentals to make this game fun even for the host! No one knows who dies or who the murder is until the end. I wills say the game is what you make it. Decorations, costumes, and food are key items that enhance the experience. You also need about a week prior to prep all the activities but we read the instructions the day of and still did the main murder mystery and had fun. A lot of prep to get the best experience (reading wise). Overall it was amazing and I would highly reccomend it.

    Roaring 20s Success!

Posted by Jessica Souza on Jan 29th 2020

I had so much fun with the theme of this party!! This was my second time buying a kit from this company so it was much easier to put everything together myself. I found about 90% of my decorations at the Dollar Tree and then did a lot of my own at home using ideas from Pinterest :) It all came together soooo beautiful and everyone kept complimenting the party and how fun it was! These parties work best with folks that have a natural ease with talking to others and who aren't afraid to be a little silly. This company has wonderful kits and very well laid out activities to add to the already fun game! Recipes for food items to match as well! Seriously takes the burden off a little in planning a super fun party! I highly recommend this particular theme for anyone who enjoys the whole Gatsby, Speakeasy, Roaring 20s style things. Pearl's, black feathers, champagne, whiskey, etc. Love it and would DEFINITELY purchase again!!

    So much fun!!

Posted by Jenn on Jan 26th 2020

This is the 3rd party we have done. They have grown each time this time we had 40+ people, Every time I have them put together the party- this time I add a few extra items for fun, I did some research on speakeasies and prohibition- many claimed to be "bookclubs" -so I had everyone bring a children's book- I sent some specific I had received from teachers on what they needed- we will donated the books to the school- the second part of that is we has someone who could not come till later- when they arrived they cam busting is saying "This is a raid!!" everyone grabbed a book like we were having a bookclub meeting, it was a nice addition. and added to the drama! I love working with them-if you have questions they are wonderful to answer and help if you need something!! We are already planning the next one- who knows we could have 60+ next time!

I would first like to say that even though i hosted I also did not want to know who the killer was ! The instructions was concise and we went through the party with no stress. My family and I really enjoyed this murder mystery.

    So much fun!

This was our first time doing a Murder Mystery Party. We were a little unsure of how it would go, but everyone had a blast!! The game is laid out step-by-step for the host, which makes it extremely easy to facilitate. I was the host and prepped all the materials myself versus paying to have it done. You can easily avoid reading the clue cards so you don’t know who did it! Everyone came in character and dressed up! We had 20 people total so we got the expansion pack too. I Highly recommend doing a murder mystery!
