Murder Mystery Synopsis:
It's the height of Prohibition in 1920s Chicago, and a mob war's brewing between the South Side Gangsters and the Northern Chicago Mob Outfit. The two ruthless crime leaders, Hal Sapone and Beanie O'Dannon, have finally agreed on bootlegging practices in Chicago and have decided to pull together resources for a collaborative effort with criminal endeavors.
On the surface, this strategy is similar to bailing out a sinking ship with tin cups.
Recently, gangsters from the north and south have been spotted together at various speakeasies throughout Chicago, but the tension in the air is always thick enough to be cut with a knife. However, this newfound relationship between the opposing mob bosses has served, thus far, to inhibit gratuitous bloodshed as in the past. Part of the success of this truce is that both crime bosses have found new dames, thereby intertwining more mutual relationships between the two factions.
The two gangs have set an official date to meet at Hal Sapone's Grand Gatsby Speakeasy to resolve all remaining differences. Will these two underground organizations resolve their disputes, or will a massive melee rekindle the fatal flames between them?
This is where your story begins.

It was the bee’s knees!
I hosted for my 30th birthday and we all had such a good time. I sent out the pre activity and it was a fun start to get people excited. Everyone got all dolled up and stayed in character. As the host, I didn’t want to know anything so it was fun seeing all the surprises and twists as they unfolded. Definitely give the required characters to the more outgoing people in your group. At the end everyone said they were ready to do another one!

We LOVE My Mystery Party!!!
My young adult daughters hosted their first murder mystery party and played The Raven Masquerade Murder in January. Everyone had so much! Like others shared in their reviews, people asked my daughters when they were hosting their next party, so they hosted Murder at the Grand Gatsby Speakeasy a month later. We went all out with the food and decor and were complimented on how beautiful our living room looked. Everyone had as much fun as they did playing the first party. My daughters then hosted The East Side Story and Panic at the Disco, and we are already planning our next one for October. My daughters didn't start incorporating the bonus games until their third party (which their guests enjoyed immensely), so I encourage you to play them!

Murder at the Grand Gadsby was a fun and exciting Mystery Dinner Theater!
We loved the 1920's-theme. All of the characters were very well-developed and easy to perform. The clue cues gave us an opportunity to Improvise, rather than read from a script and all of the players came up with fun and sometimes hilarious dialogue as a result. The cues were easy to follow and the flow of the night fit great into my dinner menu plans.

Huge Hit!
This was a huge success! It was my first time ever doing a murder mystery party and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The party pack was straight forward and the party ensued without any issues. Guests said they can’t wait for the next one!

Amazing time!
We had friends over to do this. We had so much fun! Every character was a blast to get to know. And I was shocked at the conclusion!

Becoming an Annual Tradition
I decided to do a 1920s themed 20th birthday party, and it could not have gone better. I had someone be the 'story teller', so they knew all the clues and what happened before hand but in the future I'm going to try not having anyone who knows so we can all be in on the mystery and having an amazing time. I was nervous but everyone got so into character and loved it! I'm hoping to keep this tradition going for years to come!

We do a murder mystery party every year
This is the 3rd mystery party I have purchased from mymysteryparty.com. Every year the party is an absolute hit! We like to go all with decorations and really embrace the theme for our guests. It is easily the most talked about party of the year. The party package itself is easy to use and well organized. You just print off all the instructions, assign the charchters in advance and hand out the note cards throughout the evening. Our guests have a wonderful time dressing up and staying in charchter throughout the night. As requested by popular demand we will continue to purchase packages each year impressing our family and friends.

Roaring good time
Just finished up hosting a murder mystery for our New Years Eve party. I had so much fun decorating and planning costumes. Overall everyone who participated had a good time. I have some family members who have much louder personalities than others, so it was difficult to mingle with everyone and make sure everyone was involved. This is something I’ll have to consider next time when making character assignments. As a first time host I learned a lot, but the kit did help steer me through the night. I will definitely plan another party next year.

The Grand Gatsby
For my birthday we wanted to have a game night. The night before my birthday we stumbled across My Mystery Party games, and even though it was last minute we decided to order it. Although we didn't know how to host a mystery party and it was a surprise to our guests, everyone got soooo into character! We were laughing all night! We knew who the victim was, but set it up so even we didn't know who was the murder. It was a complete surprise, and no one could figure it out! We would definitely order another game, and we know better now how to put on the best murder mystery party! Thank you for a wonderful night, we still talk about it to this day, and message each other using our character names!
