Murder Mystery Synopsis:

The Snowflake Lodge is hosting an ugly Christmas sweater party again this year. The townspeople of Snow Falls are excited about the holiday celebration, as the lodge is where the who's who of society will flock to show off their not-so-fashionable holiday attire.

Unfortunately, sparks have flown between some of the guests lately with rumors of blackmail, greed, and revenge.  However, everyone has high hopes that the holiday spirit will be enough to quench the scandals - at least long enough for everybody to have a good time at the party.

You've received your ticket to the party. Now it's time to hunt for the tackiest holiday sweater you can find. This is where your story begins.

How to Host a Larger Party:

  • 20 characters with the main game
  • 10 characters with expansion pack #1 (purchased separately)
  • 20 characters with expansion pack #2 (purchased separately)
  • Up to 25+ additional duplicate players as RBC News reporters with Donnor Couric (main game player - you do not need to purchase the expansion pack to expand the game unless you want more unique player roles.)
  • Up to 25+  additional duplicate players as Snowflake Lodge Staff with Olly Joy (expansion pack #1 player)
  • Up to 25+  additional duplicate players as Harold Flake's mooching friends (expansion pack #2 player)

    Christmas Family Fun!

Posted by Angie on Jan 1st 2018

Looking for a different way to spend the holidays with family? I had 4 teenagers to entertain, a “grandmother “, single aunt, divorced uncle and many personality. I didn’t want everyone to just watch TV or play video games or be on their phone. This murder mystery hit the spot. Everyone spent days looking for the perfect ugly sweater (or t-shirt) and then over dinner we played the game. We all had a blast and ended up laughing hysterically and having great conversation and fun! Fun for all! Win!

The characters had more depth than other games I've purchased here and were absolutely hilarious.

Great fun and easy to run

Worked very well with mixed family group. My family surprised me with their inventiveness. Everyone found it easy to join in from young nephew to 85 year old grandma and daughters new boyfriend. Memberable evening - a good laugh.

Game is a breeze to host, the instructions are clear. We did this for our holiday get together at work and everybody came out of their shell and had a good time. The game itself is fun to play and we fell in love with our roles in the game. We are still laughing. Thank you.

Easier to host than I thought

When I downloaded the package and saw that it was 84 pages, I didn't know how I would get through it. But, I soon discovered it was pretty straight-forward. And, my guests REALLY enjoyed it! I definitely recommend this to anyone and I'll be doing it again. Maybe for Halloween!

    Exceeded expectations

We had a game of 30 people. The whole evening was really great. It really got the introverts meeting and talking to new people as well. My only critique of the game is that the last group during the reveal seem to take a long time I would recommend cutting the dialogue by 50% because people were ready to put the game away at that point. Overall a great experience. Thank you

This game is to DIE for!

Loved everything about hosting this party for 20 people. Host instructions are great & super easy. The kit didn't take too awful long to prepare but next time I'm springing for the boxed one. My guests got into their roles and the laughter didn't stop all night. Great mystery! Loved the game!
