Mystery Synopsis:

An oil tycoon named Trais Fontenot is hosting an exclusive Mardi Gras event for the who's who of New Orleans. The shindig's location will be the famous One-Eyed Blacksmith Bar – an 18th-century cottage on Bourbon Street. The hotspot is one of the oldest surviving structures and served as a blacksmith's home during the Spanish Colonial period. The bar is plagued with a rich history peppered with scandals, murder, and mayhem. The year has been full of discord and strife among the citizens of the Big Easy, and Trais believes that hosting a Fat Tuesday party will help to mend wounds, rebuild bridges, and kindle old friendships.

You have received an invitation, and even though many of your foes will be there, you'll put on your best Mardi Gras attire and be at the bash with bells on. This is where your story begins.

    We loved it!

This game is a lot of fun. The clues were challenging, but solvable. I highly encourage you to read the alternate endings at the end of the night! I encourage you to have excel sheet to have on a share screen as the suspect's give their clues. It helped us organize and solve! You will see what I mean when you play. No spoilers!

    Good fun!

Played this mystery party virtually with a group of 9 friends. It was very easy to set up and get the materials out. Everything was so well organized and straightforward for me the host. The story and clues were entertaining, the additional challenges were fun, and the alternative endings were hilarious! We played the game, two mini challenges and had a break for dinner, so it took us 3 hours but we were having fun and not in a rush. All in all a great activity for the price and I would recommend giving it a try!

Fun virtual team bonding event for Companies

Posted by Cindy B. on Feb 12th 2021

I thought this was a really fun game to play at one of our team bonding events at my Company. I was the host and I must say it took quite some time to prep everything. We played with 10 players, which I think was a little much. The common feedback was that the 10 players had a lot of information to share and it was difficult to keep up. In the end the two challenges and additional documentation helped narrow it down and most people guessed the murderer correctly. however, in the future we are probably going to play with 7-8 players and ensure that every player is appropriately prepared and can the information their character has in a summarized version. The full game took us 1.5 hours and we tried to rush through it bc we had limited time. But overall it was fun and everyone dressed up and it was more entertaining than a regular happy hour.

    Great for first timers!

We used this for a group of 5 for my friends birthday. It was a lot of fun. I was the host (first time) and found the instructions and checklists to be very helpful. Everything worked very well on google meet— I was able to queue up all of the videos and play them. One tip, If you are the host mute your own mic before hitting play on videos. The challenges were of moderate difficulty which worked really well for us.
