Description

Like, totally! Hosting this super silly '80s murder mystery party (face-to-face traditional mingling format) will result in a hilarious evening for a minimum of 8 players, ages 14+. There are seven kit sizes for this game, so you can invite up to 70 players with the largest kit size. If you want a silly night of glam rock, pop icons, Mogwai scandals, vampire bats, and Rubik's cubes, this is the game for you! Warning: this game is lighthearted and not to be taken seriously, as it's all about the Radical Eighties with a fun twist!

Spoil yourself, and choose the party ready option above, and our dedicated staff will fold and slip your clue cards for rounds one, two, and three into the envelopes to prevent you from seeing spoilers on the round cards.  Without the party ready option selected, you will have some assembly required with your kit and there will be spoilers upon opening the kit and viewing the rounds 2 and 3 clue cards.

Note: The download version is a different product and does not come with the party pack, as they are not seamless and materials should not be used together.

Mystery Synopsis:

Polly Abdool is throwing a totally tubular VIP album release party for her best friend and international pop icon, Debbie Gribson! Hosted at an exclusive Beverly Hills hotspot, this glitzy soirée is in honor of Debbie’s brand-new album Eclectic Youth! But that’s not all. Debbie is also launching a signature fragrance line by the same name, which is essentially glamour, gossip, and glitter in a crystal bottle. The guest list? Bodacious. It's stacked with Hollywood elites, chart-topping icons, and fashion-forward yuppies who will kill the red carpet with gnarly shoulder pads, hair teased to the max, and stilettos sharp enough to slice through a glam band power ballad. And guess what? You received an invitation! But as you scan the guest list, you want to gag yourself with a spoon.  A few names spark more dread than delight. Old flames. Bitter rivals. Two-faced posers with killer cheekbones and sharper tongues. Whatever! You’re going, anyway. This is where your story begins.

Kit Sizes:

  • KIT A: 18 unique suspect characters
  • KIT B: The 18 above and 10 additional unique suspect characters from expansion pack #1 - 28 players
  • KIT C: The 28 above and 6 additional unique suspect characters  from expansion pack #2 - 34 players
  • KIT D: The 34 above, and 6 unique suspect characters from expansion pack #3 - 40 players
  • KIT E:  All 40 suspects above and 10 duplicate valley characters led by Muffy Bangles (5) and Buff Biffman (5) - 50 players total (40 unique, 10 team)
  • KIT F:  All 40 suspects above and 20 duplicate valley characters led by Muffy Bangles (10) and Buff Biffman (10) - 60 players total (40 unique, 20 team)

    Crazy night

Posted by Darren on Feb 18th 2019

Was much better than we expected. Everyone was engaged and stayed in character for most of the night. It was great for people who did not know each other to break the ice and many new friends were had. We all can't wait to do another.

    Definitely get the kit

Posted by Unknown on Oct 30th 2016

I'm a long time host with this company and this game was fantastic (as always - the mysteries are all so different and fun). I'd suggest getting the kit - I've always elected for the download and DIY, but it seems like a lot of cash to give up for this, but it's worth it.
