Mystery Synopsis:

It's the height of Prohibition in 1920s Chicago, and a mob war's brewing between the South Side Gangsters and the Northern Chicago Mob Outfit. The two ruthless crime leaders, Hal Sapone and Beanie O'Dannon, have finally agreed on bootlegging practices in Chicago and have decided to pull together resources for a collaborative effort with criminal endeavors.
On the surface, this strategy is similar to bailing out a sinking ship with tin cups.
Recently, gangsters from the north and south have been spotted together at various speakeasies throughout Chicago, but the tension in the air is always thick enough to be cut with a knife. However, this newfound relationship between the opposing mob bosses has served, thus far, to inhibit gratuitous bloodshed as in the past. Part of the success of this truce is that both crime bosses have found new dames, thereby intertwining more mutual relationships between the two factions.
The two gangs have set an official date to meet at Hal Sapone's Grand Gatsby Speakeasy to resolve all remaining differences. Will these two underground organizations resolve their disputes, or will a massive melee rekindle the fatal flames between them?
This is where your story begins.

    Great!!

I am throwing the party tomorrow so I haven’t used it yet. But the materials are promising and my guests are very excited about their character descriptions. I can’t wait to just have something fun to do at a party that doesn’t involve minute-to-win-it games.

Loved this, I don’t drink, so it was nice to have a party that people didn’t have to get drunk to play, honestly everyone had a great time

    My 1st Murder Mystery!

Posted by Tiffany on Jan 12th 2017

I planned this party for my sister and her husband. We bought the expansion back and had about 20 or so guests. I loved how the pre game cards gave messages for guest to send to others... that really got everyone excited before the event. The clues, game, and Storyline were all perfection! I didn't receive pieces of my order and they were quick to make the correction and went into panic when there was just a boy and girl bathroom they available and quickly had a solution for me. Everything was PERFECTION! My sister and brother in law had a blast as well as all the family and friends! After doing my first party I realized it was easier to execute when you use all characters. I liked more characters on expedition pack and used thoughts instead of some in original kit. I regret that. I think it's better to have all or most in attendance! Was the party of a lifetime!

Our first murder mystery party was a success!

Posted by Katherine on Nov 19th 2016

We recently moved into a new house and were ready to throw our first party as an excuse to invite a bunch of people. After some consideration we opted for a murder mystery party and chose this site after evaluating probably a dozen others. In the end everything worked out swimmingly and we were really happy with the purchase. We chose the version where we printed everything ourselves.

    1920's Great Gatsby

This was our first murder mystery party that we hosted and was a part of. Everyone had a blast, the recipes were delicious, the characters were great. I was surprises how well everyone got into their characters, even the shy invitees of the group! Highly recommended, will be ordering more games from you!

    Great Singles Group Activity

    Posted by J.Falkner on Aug 26th 2016

Trying to find murder mystery kits for 10+ is not only super expensive but generally complicated. This company is not only very affordable but everyone gets to stay in the game through the end - host and victim alike. We had 12 players (plus I arranged for one person in the kitchen) from our singles group, but would have been just as effective for couples. Everyone is all ready asking when we are going to do it again. I would absolutely recommend this website! P.S. - if you are going to do the between round games (which I recommend) the tommy gun challenge was hysterical. Good luck!

always get the boxed set! This was great

Posted by W. Gore on Jul 19th 2016

i've been a murder mystery party host forever and once I found this company, I've never looked back. The boxed kits are the way to go - so nice looking and easy as the host to have it all ready. Materials are much better than kits on Amazon and there are way more players and a more interesting story line. The characters are great, the story was intriguing and kept my guests guessing. They're still talking about it a month later.
