Description
This is the downloadable version of expansion pack #1 of the Murder at the Shakin' Shamrock - St. Patrick's Day Murder Mystery Party. This pack includes 6 suspect character roles and two optional expandable teams - may all be expanded up to 25+ players each (see the breakdown below). With the purchase of this pack, you can host up to a 124+ player game with 24 suspect players and 100 players on the four expandable teams.
You can use any number of characters from this pack in any combination from the optional players in the main game. Print this product in addition to the Shakin' Shamrock Murder Mystery Game (purchased separately).
This pack was updated on 2/12/26 and will not be seamless with previous versions of the game.
As with the main game - use Adobe Reader to view/print the file, as a PDF is an Adobe product.

There are multiple ways to host a large game with this theme. There is a lot of flexibility, which is fantastic!
Option 1: Use the main game and this expansion pack #1 to cover 24 suspect role players and up to 100+ players as the duplicated, non-suspect team players, sorted into the four teams (as described above). These players all get the same type of materials as everyone else, but do not input a unique storyline into the game. Like the main game (purchased separately), you'll receive files for each team that you can download and make a copy of for each player on the team. The expandable team Q and As are at the end of this section.
Option 2: Only purchase the main game (do not purchase this pack).
The two teams were giving with the main game to increase the flexibility of this game and to prevent the host from having to purchase an expansion pack if there are last-minute add-ons. You'd have the main game suspects (characters #1-18) plus two teams of up to 25 non-suspect team players = *68 players as an absolute max with only the main game.
*However, having this many on the teams with only the main game 18 suspects isn't optimal. It is best to include as many suspects as possible before expanding the teams this large. So, a safer, more optimal number for a main game purchase only would be ~ 18 suspects and up to ~ 15 per team = up to 48 players.
Therefore, if you want to go above 48 players, you should add this pack so you have 6 more suspects and two more teams.
NOTES:
- Never allow your guests to choose their characters from the free invite or player pregame site at Your Mystery Party. The host is to assign the character roles using the host character lists from the purchased packs.
- This expansion pack is not seamless with the party pack (boxed) version of the game. If you need more players for your boxed set, go to the party pack add-on option.
