This is the first expansion pack for the Murder at the Grand Gatsby game. Do not purchase this expansion kit without also purchasing the downloadable version of the main game.
It is optimal to play the expansion packs in order, so this is the first one to add on to your game.
THIS PACK: This is the instant download version of the expansion pack #1 - no waiting, no shipping fees. Purchase this pack first if you need more than 15 players from the 1920s Grand Gatsby game. This pack includes 14 additional characters (8 female, 6 male) - all optional and may be played in any combination. Click here for the host character list for expansion pack #1.
HOW IT WORKS: This pack contains the materials needed for the characters in the host list above to play seamlessly with the other characters in the main game. You'll receive a new guest list that includes these players, a new invitation (link is below), name tags, four rounds of cards, investigation sheets, and bonus game materials (same as the main game). This document should be printed in addition to the main game (purchased separately).
DO YOU HAVE TO USE ALL OPTIONAL PLAYERS FROM THE MAIN GAME BEFORE ADDING THESE? No, all available optional players may be played in any combination. If there are optional players you don't want/need in the main game - skip them and move on to these.

Never allow your guests to choose their characters from the free invite or guest pregame site. The host is to assign the character roles using the host character lists.

This expansion pack is not seamless with the party pack (boxed) version of the game. If you need more players for your boxed set, go to the party pack add-on option.

Under no circumstances will we give refunds for expansion packs purchased out of order.

Great Game!
Being an expansion pack, I would have like to see more LGBT characters. All the characters have a love interest but they are all straight, which does not fit my complete guest list.

You couldn’t ask for a better game we had 19 people and it kept us in our toes till the end!!! You have to try this for your next party it is truly amazing

Sweet 16 party
This was a hit for my daughters party. I also got the expansion pack as we had over 20 participants. There is a lot of prep with coping clues, name tags, etc. if you choose the digital version. So allow enough time to read through throughly and plan. There are plenty of added options with icebreaker games, costume & decor suggestions. Everything you need is in the download. I would definitely recommend this set!

Great Game with a perfect Ending
I ordered the following products: • 1920s Murder Mystery Party • Grand Gatsby Expansion Pack #1 All our guest had so much fun and we even had some last minute additions and I was able to include them in the game with any issues. They never knew they were not in the orginal game plan. I do not want to give away the ending but I will say this - It was one of the best ending I have ever seen. Everyone laughed and enjoyed the entire night. We used this as our theater troop party and getting a bunch of theater nerds in the same room playing this game - we emmerised ourselves in the characters - costumes, accents, time period props, and all. We had so much fun!

Hi I ordered this kit on line and it has arrived safely, at first i thought the price was a bit steep for the contents but after having a good look i can understand why, looks very imformative, I also ordered the extention pack

The More the Merrier
This was my first murder mystery party and I ended up having more interest in attendance than I had originally thought. I bought the expansion pack last minute and everything went smoothly.
