Murder Mystery Synopsis:
It is 1927, and the mob scene is prospering in major cities across the United States with rum running, loan sharking, protection rackets, speakeasies, and gaming halls. In order for the underground to reach supremacy as a unified crime faction, crime bosses from Atlantic City, New York City and Chicago have agreed to establish The Commission during a gathering known as the Atlantic City Conference. The Commission is set to be a governing body that will oversee all mob organizations in the country. Various opinions have been made known on how The Commission should be run, and who will be the boss of all bosses. Some high ranking officials are adamantly against the idea, which has led to preemptive hostility. Nonetheless, the crime bosses have agreed to conduct themselves with integrity at the conference. An unbreakable truce has been put into effect.
Nuggy Jones from Atlantic City has agreed to host the conference at his residence and place of business, the Karlton Ritz Hotel on the Boardwalk. Mobsters from the biggest families will be arriving in Atlantic City very soon. This is where your story begins.

Love these mysteries!
This is the 3rd party I’ve thrown with these games and they’ve all been wonderfully written. This one was fun in that it kept the relationships between the historical figures referenced intact. It made researching backgrounds for character play really straight forward.

Colorful Characters, tricky mystery, great opportunity for hamming it up
While we have hosted dozens of mysteries over the years, this is the first time we played one with just our family. We had lots of fun one evening during our Jersey Shore vacation - so the theme fit right in! Even without costumes, the characters had distinct personalities, so we could tell them apart. This one played a little more quickly than some others, but during our accusation phase, it became evident that we should have paid closer attention - so only two discovered the murderer. Plenty of characters with motive and means. Everyone enjoyed the randomization components during the reveal. Keep those in! I would rate this as a “clean” mystery - which we appreciate - thank you!

Loved it! Used it for a baby announcement!
We recently hosted our first murder mystery. It was a last minute decision, but we were able to get 12 of our closest friends to the house to host the party. The whole purpose was to have a great evening getting into our roles and enjoy each others company. What everyone in the game didn't realize is we were about to announce we were having a baby. We used the awards time to make the announcement! It was amazing! The on-line kit was easy to understand and provide all information necessary as the host and for the individual players. This will not be our last, and we have friends that have already purchased a different game for another weekend party.

Hosted a murder mystery party for a group of 16 year olds and all had a blast!! Would definitely host another as it was very easy to follow the given directions for a hilarious and eventful night!

So Much Fun
We did this just as a little get together! It was a great kit for for some of my guests who had never done one before, and still fun for those of us who had done a few! It was our first time using this company and I'm sure we will use more in the future. I really liked the recipe ideas and games that came along with the main mystery! And it was a pretty difficult mystery, most of our guests didn't know who the murderer was! I also liked that you didn't know if you were the killer until the end of the game. I feel like with other games when you know you work really hard to try to hide that you are, but i didn't have to worry about that. I highly recommend this game!

Super fun, very well organized !
I completely recommend this product. I did a ton of research and this one fit our needs well. As host, I wanted to participate too, and I was able to put the game together without spoiling the surprise for myself. (I ended up being the murderer, which was pretty hilarious - was very surprised.) It took some organizing ahead of time but the instructions were very clear. We played with a large (20 people) and diverse group of friends and they really got into it. When the final solutions were read, there were lots of gasps and pointed fingers. Super fun!

I'm loving this game so far, haven't played it yet, but I can't wait to play. I have not peeked to see who does what.
