Hidden within the heart of the magical community, the historic Toadwart Inn offers witches, wizards, and other enchanted beings a peaceful retreat from the non-magical world, whose inhabitants are known as snurbs. Each year, magical society eagerly anticipates the inn’s celebrated Witch’s Brew Social. The gathering is one of the rare occasions when the most prominent members of the supernatural community can mingle freely, renew old friendships, forge new alliances, and sample the latest flavors of witch’s brew.

Guests will arrive aboard extravagant and expensive broom models while reporters from Merlin’s Daily and the Merlin Morning Times photograph this season’s most fashionable hats, robes, and wands. The guest list includes powerful witches, charismatic wizards, Sprowns, Gnomes, Genies, and other influential members of magical high society. Behind the elegant robes and polished wands, however, old rivalries, dangerous powers, jealous grudges, and secret motives are beginning to stir.

Excellent party

Just had my daughters birthday party and it worked like a dream. Girls had a fantastic time. Timings worked perfectly. All easy to follow and understand. Highly recommend.

An Absolute blast of an event!

As an owner of my own murder mystery business, I always love getting to experience a murder mystery that I haven't crafted myself. So often I do not get to play along with everyone because I know all the answers. So I loved getting the opportunity to enjoy the evening and solve the murder along with everyone else!

The setup is as simple or complex as you want it to be. I had everything ready to go within a day (it was a last minute decision to do with visiting family.) But the story was funny and the characters are easy to become especially in a group of people willing to let their inhibitions go. It really embraces the ideas of the events and makes people talk because there is crucial evidence that has to be discussed so that everyone has an opportunity to solve the mystery.

And I loved the reveal of the killer and their motives. Everyone was soooooo close to figuring out everything. Some people figured out the killer but the motive was wrong, while others pegged the wrong killer but had valid motives to support their accusations! The entire event was simply a blast and a half!!!!

Gives people a chance to have fun

I had a good mixture of outgoing people and introverts. I was surprised by how into it the introverts got! Fun excuse to dress up. It was a blast.

Great Murder Mystery

We plan on using this at work in a three act skit for Halloween. This is the 11th time we've done this and each time it's been a huge success! This mystery has all the elements of a great time!

Birthday Party

This is our first party and not our last for sure! It was a huge hit! We used the expansion kit and the guests were ages 12-15 and it was not too difficult for them. They had tons of fun! I added two more “in party games”and an award ceremony and the party was about 4 hours total. I hosted but did not participate so I read all the clues prior which I felt helped me as the host. Obviously if you’re hosting and participating, DO NOT read any clues! We liked this game because it was fun and had funny moments as well.

I organized this murder mystery party for my family. We played it the day after Thanksgiving. Everyone loved it, especially because we all love Harry Potter. I would recommend this to any family or group of friends that wants to have a fun evening.

Great Materials

While I haven't been able to actually throw my party yet (it's a surprise birthday for my wife), the materials in this pack are awesome. I decided to throw my wife a Harry Potter themed birthday mystery, and so I've changed some small things here and there for my purposes, but everything is well-written and designed. I'd certainly recommend this to anyone who asked, especially at the price they are asking. Many other packs are more expensive, but this one had everything you need. If you are considering a magical murder mystery party, look no further.
