Description

This boxed kit delivers an entertaining, clue-based Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball–themed murder mystery party for a minimum of 7 players, recommended for ages 14 & up, set inside a grand old mansion in the French Quarter during Carnival Season.

The game is designed for in-person play and works seamlessly for co-ed, all-female, or all-male groups, with fully gender-flexible characters.

Want to host a larger event?

Optional expansion packs allow you to scale your party to:

  • Up to 27 suspects and up to 40+ expandable team players to cover 67+ players.  (See kit size options below for details.)

Party-Ready Option (Spoiler-Free)

Select the Spoiler-Free option above, and our staff will pre-fold and organize all clue cards for Rounds One, Two, and Three, slipping them into labeled envelopes so you won’t accidentally see spoilers while preparing.

If this option is not selected, some assembly is required with your boxed kit. We do not fold and insert the pre-game cards, as you'll need to write your players' info on them before folding/inserting.

Mystery Synopsis:

The owners of the old Madison Avenue Mansion are once again hosting their annual Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball, and the city is buzzing with excitement.

Of course, that excitement comes with a touch of dread. Locals know that events held at the historic mansion have a habit of going terribly wrong.

The estate is legendary—built in the mid-1800s and long associated with spectacularly bad luck. Weddings held there famously end in divorce. Visiting travelers have vanished without a trace. Once, during a lavish gala, a mime who had wandered off Bourbon Street gatecrashed the event and promptly choked to death after stealing a bite of the king cake.

Still, despite the occasional… mishap, the Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball sold out in record time.

You’re a thrill-seeker, and this is exactly your kind of risk. Armed with insider knowledge that tickets were limited, you were first in line to secure yours.

You’ve chosen the perfect mask.

This is where your story begins.
