BETA TEST GROUP | Mullets, Mayhem, & Murder

BETA TEST Coming Soon - April 6th!  If you have time to host this game between April 6th - 27th and have GREAT attention to detail - we invite you to participate in our Beta test group. We are open to newbies, and also hope that our experienced and valued testers can fit this into their schedule. 

How the beta test works: 

1. Pay the $29.95 (USD) fee to join the group by placing this beta test in the cart - on the order, note when your party will be hosted in the text field of the shopping cart. 
   
   
2. Download and review the host instruction file and note any problems you may see - anything that confuses you, that is incorrect, etc.  Check that the videos play for you (don't view the solution video if you are playing along), review the pre-game site etc.
   
   
3. You can download the printable file to review it - but do not print until the day of your party (or at a minimum - the day before). 
   
   
4. Invite your players using our free invitation and note any problems - email us if something needs to be corrected.
   
   
5. Notify us of any issues as you go, as we will make the necessary changes/clarifications and update the file. 
   
   
6. The day of the party (or day before), download the printable file and print/prepare the kit.  Dates of the last version will be noted on your account via the download page - write that date down for your survey.
   
   
7. During the pre-game and the main game, jot down any problems, errors, sources of confusion along the way.  Asks your guests what they thought of the game after playing. Keep in mind we will be asking questions on the game's difficulty rating, your opinion of the minimum age to play, and content/challenge/mystery questions, as well. 
   
   
8. Email us for the questionnaire at support@mymysteryparty.com (albeit, you can email us the day of your party so you know what will be asked and what to look for - but this can also be updated as the game is updated).
   
   
9. Submit your completed and meaningful questionnaire to support@mymysteryparty.com as an email reply with the subject line BETA TEST SURVEY.  All questions must be answered, so double check before sending it to us.
   
   
10. Once we verify you have submitted meaningful and complete feedback, we will issue a store credit for the full purchase price of $29.95 on your account within 72 hours after receipt. This never expires and can be used for your next beta group (if you so choose) or applied toward the purchase of another game.
    
    

An example of non-meaningful feedback would be the return of a survey where it is apparent that the game was not hosted - answering in only yes's and no's with no detail, skipping questions, etc.  In this case, or if you find that you are unable to host the party for whatever reason (life happens, we will issue you a coupon code for $29.95 off the full retail price of the Mullets, Mayhem and Murder game for use once it is published.  There are no exceptions to which game you receive a coupon code for - it will only be for this game. That way, you don't simply lose your money and can host the game, as the beta materials will no longer be available to you after the deadline.

Also, the deadline may be extended if the author needs more groups to provide feedback. If this happens, everyone will receive an extension. The deadline will always be posted here on this page. 

A hilarious, lighthearted murder mystery party game for up to 16 players. Expansion packs will be available that will expand to over 100+ players with expandable teams. There will be an absolute minimum of 6 players, but you have the ability to make all 16 characters as required with the main game.

Synopsis: 

Henpecked Junction is a small, charming town chock full of the best trailer parks with the most offbeat, neighborly, and, well, troublemaking residents. The festival planners have spewed blood, sweat, and bacon grease to make this year's Mullet Fest the most extraordinary jubilee ever thrown in the town square. Everyone's chompin' at the bit to party this year, as Henpecked Junction recently received national recognition for bringing home a record number of winnin' titles, such as the Mullet of the Year Award, Muds & Suds Truck Race, Rompin', Stompin' Hot Dog Chomp - and the list goes on.

But the mayor's feelin' like a long-tailed cat in a room of rockin' chairs about how the townies will behave. Last year, the festival had to shut down b'fore sundown due to excessive table divin', portable potty vandalism, among other wrongdoings. So hopefully, everyone will be on their best behavior. Well, hmm, that bar ain't too high, if ya know what I'm sayin.' But can't never could do nothing, so the show will go on as planned.
