Mystery Synopsis:

Topsy Turvy Land has turned dreadful. The Scarlet Queen has thieved the crown from the benevolent Silver Queen – the peaceful ruler of the land for the past 101 years. Scarlet Queen is an uncaring dictator who lives under the protection of her beastly ally – the Greasy Goon!

Allie, a loyal friend of the Silver Queen, has hatched an ingenious plan to dethrone the evil ruler. The Flying Monkeys are the unwilling guardians of the crown and only protect the crown to avoid the queen’s wrath. They are locked in the highest palace tower, and their wings can only take flight at exactly 3:14 PM. Therefore, to keep them prisoners in the palace, the queen has banned clocks in the palace.

White Bunny follows a rigid schedule around the daily criminal trials in the Palace Garden and is the only one on the palace grounds allowed to keep a timepiece. When White Bunny returned home after the last trial, there was a ransom note and curiously-coded message on the dinner table! A thief has stolen the White Bunny’s pocket watch! This bunny is in big trouble and needs help from friends!

The Crazy Cap Maker has scheduled an afternoon tea party. White Bunny will present the ransom note and curiously-coded message to the guests. Hopefully, they will be able to help White Bunny find the watch and get to the next trial in the Palace Garden on time. If not, the Scarlet Queen will have the bunny’s head! You’ve been invited to the tea party. This is where your story begins.

Played this at my daughter's birthday.

The kids all had a great time role playing and solving the mystery. A couple of adults assisted the kids who were 6 and 8. However the 12 and 13 year olds were able to play on their own.

    Great full family event

As with any mystery party, it’s best if participants get into character. Ours did! 3 generations. 6 adults and 6 kids ages 5-11. S 1 adult was paired with 1 kid to help read clue cards and share and note key information. Some kids were definitely too young but it didn’t matter because they were part of the fun and enjoyed being in costume. We started with a a parade around the house and when we entered the front door we had to crawl through a tunnel (card tables covered with blankets), and when we emerged we were in topsy turvy land. The tea party was great. The forensics portion was very important to making everyone feel party of solving the mystery.

Kids had a blast dressing up. They were as young as 7 and as old as 13. They were all having a blast.

    Fun party

Posted by Unknown on Feb 25th 2018

The kids had a wonderful time dressing up and playing. They were ages 9-11, and it they had no problems with the clues and enjoyed working together to figure out who stole the watch. I had some trouble making the party run smooth, transitioning from one round to the next. The tea party table was out main focus, so round one was the tea party, round two was dinner, and round three was cake so resetting the table for each course was ...but that was poor planning on my part. The instructions were very helpful and took me step by step through the ENTIRE party. All in all the party was a success.

    Fun for the whole family

This is recommended for ages 10 - 14 however; we have younger children playing the parts of the "Card Army" and "Duck Family" from the expansion pack. We have also included some fun loving adults and older kids as the Scarlet Queen, and such. This is a really great game for kid based fundraisers as well as birthday parties.
