Mystery Synopsis:

Since 1864—The Bateman Hotel. A place where guests can relax and conjure the days of refined luxury, romantic evenings and glittering nights. The new owner is hosting a soiree in honor of the anniversary of the hotel’s reopening a year ago. If you decide to make a reservation for an overnight stay after the party, there are a few guest rooms to avoid due to reports of ill-spirited apparitions, steamy pockets of strange mist causing feelings of dread, sudden drops of temperature, and terrifying voices that echo in the corridors during the wee hours of the morning. Other than that, the old hotel is once again becoming the place to be in the town of Wraith’s Cove.

The infamous Quinn Bloom is on the VIP guest list and will bring a rare doll collection to the hotel - but don't let the dolls bother you - the rumors about them may not even be true. You wouldn’t miss this party for the world. This is where your story begins.

    A night to remember!

Bought this for Halloween, the package came with very easy instructions, recipes, signage and more! We’ll worth the money!!! My friend group showed up, and we had such an amazing night of interrogating each other and bonus games! While there was really convincing theories, this expert level game was a tough one and no one guessed right. -p.s. we’re going to buy more of these games….can’t wait for the next one!

    Murder and Mayhem on Halloween

Posted by Lynn Swan on Nov 2nd 2020

We have done murder mysteries as a family before but have never tackled one this complex. As always, all the materials needed to have an awesome experience are included with terrific easy to follow instructions. I got the version where I knew who the murderer was so I could match personalities of the participants to their characters. Because it was on Halloween we went all out on decorating. We had a haunted hallway and the front desk for a hotel complete with creepy statuary. We created haunted “dolls” by painting ugly knick knacks black with red eyes. Totally creepy and fit the part. This mystery requires all participants to fully engage and play their part or vital information won’t be shared. No wallflowers allowed in the required parts. Everyone got into character and played it up all the way. Accusations were flying and that was before the murder even happened! Once the victim came out in their victim shirt it really got going. We had an absolute blast. This being the year from Covid hell, my college freshman daughter who is having to remote learn asked for a big Halloween blowout with the family. Afterward, she said this was her best Halloween ever. If that isn’t the best endorsement you can get, I don’t know what is.

    WOW what a night!

Posted by Lisa on Mar 2nd 2020

This was my first time hosting a murder mystery soirée and boy did I ever bring it thanks to the inspiration of the story and setting of Haunted Hotel Homicide. I completely transformed my home for the evening and dazzled my guests with all of the details that tied into the story. I was surprised to see how well everything flowed throughout the night with little help. We found the Post murder clues to be a little confusing but I guess that is what you can expect from a level 8 in difficulty paired with it being every guests first time attending a murder mystery.

Murder Mystery Virgins have a Killer Time

Posted by Jacki Campbell on Nov 14th 2019

My boyfriend has done some of these in the past, and wanted to do another for my birthday party. He was the only person who knew the gist of how it all worked, so for the rest of us it was totally new. WE. HAD. A. BLAST. I was worried about the difficulty of the game since 99% of us had never played, but the night was fun and flawless. My boyfriend said it was actually the best experience he's ever had. He and I were also able to cut out the cards and stuff the envelopes without any plots points or victims being spoiled for us. At the end of the night, everyone was saying how much fun they had and asked when the next murder mystery party would be. Thank you for making my 25th birthday party a smash!

    Offline teen entertainment

Posted by Ken on Oct 31st 2016

I bought this for my 13 year old son's Halloween party. Most of their fun is spent online playing computer games and I hoped that this would be a good deviation from their norm with face to face interactions and fun. They really got into it and it kept them entertained for about 4 hours which included a meal and dessert. My wife and I spent most of our time observing and fussing over the eyeball pizzas. The game played out easily without our direction. Just watching the boys play the game has inspired my wife and I to host an adult party using another one of your products. Thanks for helping us throw a Halloween party for a group of teens that they will talk about for years to come.

We hosted this party last year. I hope the author writes another scary one, as our group fell in love with this game.
