Murder Mystery Synopsis:

The neighbors of Sunny Lane are an eclectic group of people. Most of them get along fabulously, but others have unfortunately plunged their wicked hooks into others, causing mayhem, despair and serious misunderstandings. Nonetheless, the neighborhood Home Owner’s Association has decided to move forward with the annual block party in hopes that it will bring those engaging in combat to a truce; and the neighborhood will be able to live happily ever after in harmony.

This year, the block party will be held at Kris Angels’ home. Kris, a professional magician that strongly upholds the Magician’s Oath and Code of Ethics, doesn’t typically invite guests over - in fear that magical secrets may become popular knowledge. Rumor has it that Kris has rented a storage facility in order to hide certain gadgets, contraptions and props from the guests.

You have received your invitation, and cannot wait to soak up some sun, play backyard party games and enjoy some delicious grilled food with your neighbors. This is where your story begins.

How to Host a Larger Party:

  • 14 players from the main game (purchased separately)
  • 6 players from expansion pack #1 (purchased separately)
  • Up to 15 players with a team with Tele Ewe as the RBC News Crew (expansion pack #1)
  • Up to 6 players with expansion pack #2 (purchased separately)

There are 26 unique players and an additional 15+ you can invite as duplicate team players totaling 40+ players on your guest list

We did this game with a 50/50 mix of experienced and new players. It worked wonderfully and everyone had a great time!

    Great summer fun!!

I love all the murder mysteries I have purchased. I use them at work as a group activity and everyone loves them They dress up according to their character and get right into it. I purchased both of the expansion packs to have enough characters. Each time I have had one more and more people sign up! We are going to be grilling out and making a full afternoon of it.

All the Kids had a Great Time!

Posted by Unknown on Jul 15th 2019

The instructions were clear and easy to follow, this was our first murder mystery at the library. We weren't able to hand out the character packets until everyone arrived but it all went very well, no problems at all. We will be doing this again as all the kids had a great time. We are looking for one to do at Halloween.

    Easy as to run

Not complicated. Didnt require a lot of prep. Fun. A good intro mystery to get into the groove of hosting them.

    Great game for teens

Posted by Mel on Sep 11th 2018

I bought this for my son's 16th birthday. They had such a great time. They had to talk and interact with each other. No one was on their cell phones. They laughed and laughed at each other as they played out the different roles and tried to guess who did it. No one guessed who the killer was, it was a total surprise. We will do more games like this in the future.

    Good time had by all!

Even the victim had fun! (We had her talk in a ghostly voice so she could still contribute.) The storyline was interesting, the clues were good but not too easy. All 12 adults got into their character, and some heated discussions occurred, but the 3 children present knew it was a game and played happily in another room. Delightful afternoon! I like that the nonessential characters never knew they were!
