A cool 1950s Murder Mystery for 8-16 guests, ages 14+ due to difficulty. There is a 6 player, co-ed expansion pack available. This '50s murder mystery party game can be expanded to over 50 guests by adding additional guests to play with the football and cheerleader characters. Murder Mystery Synopsis:
It’s 1955, and Fontaine City has a problem with teenage street gangs. In the east, there’s a hot rod racing gang called the D-Birds. Their ladies are members of the girly clique called the Pink Chicks. These rebels attend Ryder High and spend their free time at Frosty’s Diner. The Pit Viper motorcycle gang runs the west side of town, and their ladies are the Black Widows. These hooligans attend Tuscadero High School and frequent the local hangout - the Milkshake Shack. If either of these gangs ends up on the other’s turf, a white knuckle rumble may break out and cause chaos in the streets.
At Ryder High, the cheerleaders have created an organization called Campus Crew to reduce criminal activity in the city. The founders passionately believe that bringing the teens of Fontaine City together will solve the gang problem, so they have scheduled the Friendship Sock Hop. To their surprise, everybody that was invited has sent in an RSVP! This should be a night to remember!
The Campus Crew has promised peace and harmony for this evening of forming new friendships and working out a truce between the east and west of Fontaine City. You have been invited. This is where your story begins.
How to Host a Larger Party:
• Assign all 16 unique players
• Add up to 15 cheerleaders to play with Patricia Grimlox as their lead character.
• Add up to 15 football players to play with Richie Fonzrelli as their lead character.

Great for teens
Bought this for my daughter's 16th birthday party. Did the download option and it was simple. She invited 12 guests and everyone had a blast! Easy to follow instructions and good mystery. Teens loved their characters and really for into it. They are already asking for another murder mystery party!

Can’t say enough how much I love My Mystery Party Company
I love murder mystery parties but didn’t think I could ever throw one until I found this company. This is my second party and it just keeps getting better. It’s so affordable and you get everything you need and more. I went with the download version and it was so easy to follow and put together. My guest had a great time. EVERYONE got into it as soon as they opened the round 1 envelopes. This theme was so much fun. From the decor to the costumes.

Lots of fun for the family
I planned on doing this as a surprise for my wife but ended up having to tell her about it because there are some things everyone needs to know before you play. We all got dressed up and had a great time. It took a few hours and we also had dinner. I will definitely do more of these in the future

Everyone loved it!!!
This was my first time ever doing a murder mystery, let alone hosting one. I made it so I had a smaller group of adults on purpose because I was nervous on how this whole thing would turn out. My sister and I did it together and between us we were able to figure it out (we are not smart so anyone can easily host it lol) It was a blast, we had 1950s music playing in the background and we had a photo shoot after round 2! Everyone had said that this had exceeded their expectations by far!!! I would totally do more Murder Mysteries!

So much virtual fun!
Everyone had a fantastic time, over 20 people attending via a zoom call, using breakouts rooms. Terrible accents, hilarious fancy dress, so much laughter! I self converted the download pack. This does take a little bit of work to organise everything virtually, but for less work use less characters and have everyone else play as detectives. The 1950s pack was great because everyone recognises the characters, (trying to keep things simple via zoom). I had 24 attending so using all 16 characters names to get people excited, but cut it to 10 characters who had a plot/lines to read out. This was the advice given by the website, more than 10 is too much to process. I agree that for this pack you could keep it to the 8 required. I just wanted the football captain and cheer captian so I could have expandable characters for the other guests. As it was virtual and none of my friends had played before I acted as host only and read the solution so I knew what was going to happen, so I was focused on running things. I still still had lots of fun dropping into zoom calls and I also labelled myself as one of the characters mothers so it fix quite well :) It was so successful we are going to do another next month! One piece of advice , if you use expandable characters try and add questions for the main characters to ask the cheerleaders and footballers. The football team was of interest to no one (they didn't mind ) but you could easy ads a question or to for others to talk to them about.

We used this for a sweet 16 Birthday party! It was so much fun. The kids had a blast.

Fun Night!
We purchased the 50's themed Murder Mystery for our snowbird resort. It was a fantastic evening of entertainment. The tips for decor, meal and event planning were excellent. Overall, it was straightforward and easy to organize.

We LOVE My Mystery Party!!!
My young adult daughters hosted a party and played East Side Story. (They had previously hosted parties and played Ravenwood Masquerade Murder Mystery and Murder at the Grand Gatsby and Panic at the Disco since then.) Just like the two parties before and the party after, everyone had a great time! We started incorporating the bonus games and giving prizes to the best guy costume, best girl costume, first person to correctly guess whudunnit (first person who turns in their investigation sheet with the right answer), and best dance group to each member of the dance group for the bonus dance game. Adding that definitely took our murder mystery parties to the next level, which honestly, I didn't think was possible! I love hearing all the laughter. There haven't been any lulls in any of the parties so far. I recommend hosts use a mic when making announcements and guests use a mic when making accusations.
